Staying True to the Vision: A Beautiful World!

Chants of Ascension

Inherent in African/Edenic culture and spirituality are rhythmic percussion and chants: soulful invocations to praise.  Together with these, we find throughout history, the resounding phrase, "Halleluyah", meaning "Praise Yah (the Creator)".  The roots of this phrase, and this spirituality, are in Jerusalem -- Northeast AFrica.  In the Village of Peace, Dimona, Israel, special songs and chants are sung and played with fervor and liveliness.  This work is a selection of such chants and prayers, drawn from the depths of our souls and from the Holy Scriptures.  These chants resonate with the elements of Creation and invoke the presence of the Most Holy.
